Getting a Mex Strat, What pickups?

I think i'm going to get a mexican strat soon. :cool3: I play metal/shred/rock. My amp is kind of dark sounding, not much presence, good lows, and lower mids though. So something bright maybe, kinda hot, articulate, but still with a relatively stratlike clean. What do i put in it? thanks you
