This is good for me since I make custom sets and really love the standard boomers on my emg-loaded guitars.

One thing I did noticed though when reading on their new website, was that boomers 60 and over and boomers under 24 are NOT round-core.
I've always just assumed all boomer wounds were round-core .
I don't go over 54 (C#) on anything these days so it don't matter to me, but I do use the tiny wounds, although the core-type is probably meaningless on an 18w or 20w anyways.
Just seems strange to mix them within a given set. If I played big strings I'd have to pass and just go another brand (EB) of pure hex-core (which I do seem to prefer with most passives)
