Gib LP studio bridge replacement

I'm looking to replace the bridge pickup in my Gibson LP studio.

I'm really liking the 490R so thats staying put.

the 498T is not full enough for me.

I'm looking for a good match for the neck pu, and a hot vintage sound that's big and organic, not sterile and Hi-Fi sounding.

What have people been having success with?

hot vintage sound... big, and organic...

C5 or Custom. The C5 is more open and more PAF sounding than the Custom (which is a bit more compressed), but the Custom has a little more punch to it, especially in the bottom end. Both are fantastic pickups.

Agreed! IMO, the C5 has more bottom. Either one is great. Custom is very linear sounding and has alot of warmth for a ceramic mag pickup.
But, since you said organic, Id start with C5
