I JUST PLAYED AND SG GUITAR, AND IT WAS SO EASY TO REACH THE HIGHER FRETS, BETTER THAN NECK THROUGH GUITARS.. WHAT MAKES THE SG LIKE THAT? I THINK THOSE SHREDDER GUITARS SHOULD DO A MODEL LIKE THE SG..

Well, if I recall, ESP makes the Viper. Or just use another SG if that's what you like.

Isn't it obvious, visually? The neck joins the body after the highest fret (22nd)...doh...

I think you should turn off caps lock

Re: GIBSON/EPIPHONE SG VS IBANEZ, JACKSON, SCHECTER ETC.. UPPER FRET ACCESS

At the expense of excess neck dive....

Re: GIBSON/EPIPHONE SG VS IBANEZ, JACKSON, SCHECTER ETC.. UPPER FRET ACCESS

Amazing how annoying that is. LOL

That's why you try them before buying...

both characteristics (neck dive, fret access) are basically results of the specific design.
IMHO Ibanez single cuts (ARZ) have the best fret access without the neck dive.
