Gibson Flying V

I'm thinking about getting a Gibson Flying V some day but I was wondering if wearing a strap while playing the Gibson Flying V sitting down would make playing easier?

You would either have to wear a strap or hold it like you would a classical guitar in a near vertical position.

My dad had an old 80's cream white flying V with the logo decal on the headstock in his music store when I was a kid. I've always wanted one since then. I always just stuck the V part on my leg and played regular when sitting.

Played a Gibson V as my main guitar for several years. I used a strap all the time. Never felt uncomfortable to play.
