Not sure if there is any variation on Gibson g force over the year but I have seen some with pre drilled holes and others without. Have found a great deal on a 2015 Gibson but it has a g force. So o want to change it. If it doesent have holes then I would drill in some grocers, if not I imagine the holes would fit schallers. Does anyone have any experience with the 2015 g force and know what any pre drilled holes may be designed to fit? Thanks

Have you played a guitar with g force? I get that you think you don’t need or want it but just give it a chance.

I got one and it is great, now I’m looking to get more, it’s fast and works great, alternate tunings are a few buttons. It’s less intrusive than Evertune and has user settings for your own tunings. Much faster even than my PolyTune.

Re: Gibson g force 2015

I don't have an LP with the GForce tuners, but in researching LP's over the past several years, I think the newer models do not have screw holes for the GForce. What I'm not 100% sure about is when that changed. I've seen a decent amount of LP's for sale where the GForce was removed and there were no holes showing with the Kluson tuners. Now, I've also seen LP's where the Kluson's were swapped for Grover, and the old holes were still visible.

My suggestion would be to put on locking Kluson tuners if you take off the GForce. I prefer the locking Grover personally, but I had a set of the Kluson's for a couple of hers and they were just fine.

That's my $.02
