Gibson PCB question

After taking out the Gibson quick connect pickups, could i just solder the bare pickup leads of the replacement pickups onto the pot and lug that's built into the gibson PCB? Will it work? Dankes in advance

Probably but why? If you aren't going to use the board, buy some pots and sell the board on ebay. It's an easy 50 bucks, minimum.

cuz just adding pickups to what's already there is at least one step less to do.

You could snip the quick connects off, and splice the wires together, or maybe even make use of some small terminal blocks.

Go on eBay, type Gibson quick connects, they have aftermarket adapters that you screw your pickup wires to and then plug them in. Making them solderless. I have a set and they great to have around. They are $40.
