is there anyway to identify this Gibson pickup?
well I know that later Gibson pickup has tag with winder name, production date, and pickup type.
but this one only has PAF decal at the bottom baseplate.
so it could be either the 57 or Burstbucker/Burstbucker Pro.
wire has been modified to 4-conductor wire, so I can measure DC resistance for each coil.
3.92k and 4.08k, is that enough to be considered as mismatch coil?
don't know how much to be considered as mismatch coil since I also has 4-conductor 57 Classic which shows different reading for each coil, but very slightly, 4.02k and 4.08k.
the pickup seems to be wax potted since I found a little bit wax residue.
