glassy pickups

i am currently building a tele, it will have the nashville 3 pick up configuration. i want at least one pick up to have a very glassy tone like in some of the byrds stuff, almost a pedal steel tone. as for the bridge i want a country twang reminiscent of carl perkins. any help would be greatly appreciated

I recommend the Quarter Pound Tele for just about everything. There's just something about it, plus there's loads of "twang". For your middle pup, I'd go with a Vintage model Strat pup, that'll give you some glass. Use another Vintage Tele pup for the front. Damn, I wanna see that thing when you get done with it!

i'm doin it like one i had years ago.
3 pick ups maple board hip shot b bender and scruggs locking banjo tuners on both the "E" strings. i'll post pics when done
