hey guys..
wanna sell my POD XT.. kinda bored with the tone.. it sounds great and very realistic at low volume bedroom jam kind of thing.. but i had hard times using it for gigs.. it always sounded thin and fizzy no matter how i set it up..
so I'm quite confused right now.. i want a new multi-fx that's great for jamming, recording, and live gigs equally good.. my mind runs to this 3 :
first, Digitech GNX3000, never tried one, but seems to have lots of feature, and almost every magazine agree it has the most realistic amp-modellin technology today.. the downside, it appears to have "loading time" when you switch between presets, that means trouble for live gigs IMO
second, is the VOX Tonelab LE, never considered or heard this fx before, but i saw a video on youtube of a guy playing various van halen songs using this thing.. and ****.. i wish my POD could do that...
and the latest POD X3 Live, seems very promising, with lots of very interesting new features, new amp models, etc.. etc.. it's like putting the whole Vetta II into a pedalboard.. and they say they have added XLR output, so perhaps this one deserve the word "live" in it's name lol..
or do you have any other suggestion? please post it here..
