Godin Icon Issue

I love my Godin Icon C. with the P-Rails. so much so that i never play the custom PRS 24 I bought at the same time.
I have never heard such creamy smooth clean tones like I get from those P-rail, from any other pick-up. It has gobs more sustain
in the gain channel too. If anyone is on the fence about buying an Icon -Jump!!

Here's the problem. The Icon has no pickguard. I find I'm accumulating scatches on the down side of my strum. This guitar is so beautiful
(Luxuriious Burgundy Mahogany top), that I don't want to put another mark on it. does anyone know of a generic pick guard that can be used
on these guitars. I want to stay away from drilling holes, but also don't want to leave sticky adhesive residue either. i know, i'll probably
have to do one or the other.

I'm going o call Godin to see if the Pickgards they put on the Core line will work. I think the tops have different archs. But it may be my only answer.

Help!!

Re: Godin Icon Issue

I know you said no adhesive, but one of those clear film pickguards would be my choice, so I could still see the top...

Re: Godin Icon Issue

Taylor makes a clear film pickguard that doesn't require adhesive. I'd check there.
