Godin Icon's

Re: Godin Icon's

If Gibson stopped making a Les Paul, and I couldnt' play a PRS, that's what I would play.

Got my hands on a few of them the other day; what a wonderful guitar.

Re: Godin Icon's

only thing about these ICON's i would of liked to of seen different is if they would of used the standard Godin LGX style headstock... but it's good...

what was the street prices on these here in Canada... ? i can't find any info on them..

Re: Godin Icon's

I just played one of the Godin hollowbodies the other day, what a great guitar called a 5th avenue maybe?

Depends on the model. I don't really recall to be honest.

Yup, those guitars rule.

Re: Godin Icon's

I've never played a Godin that didn't play very very well. When I bought my ES-135 I was also looking for a Godin Montreal. A buddy of mine has a couple of them and they play beautifully!

EDIT: 3,000th post! Woot!

Re: Godin Icon's

An older thread but worth reviving! I love Godins. I'd put them up against anything and bet they sound as good as their counterparts and cost hundreds less.
John McGlaughlin can't be wrong with his Freeway. I have a Session that i would put up against any Deluxe Strat. It cost about 1/3 the amount. i also bought
an Icon 2 convertable.

These guys can teach companies like Taylor a lesson. They speak softly but carry BIG guitars!!
