Re: Godin LG
I like them alot. The music store where I take lessons is well stocked Godin, and I use them for my pre-lesson warm up just so I can get a feel for them.
I like them because they have a real Les Paul type sound to them (probably do to the woods used and the Gibson scale lenth). The builds are solid, and they're well constructed for good parts (Duncan Designed pickups).
I like the P90 version. Great cleans, nice ring, and a little darker sounding than my Strat. Unfortunatly, I haven't tried the P90 version through dirt yet. Chances are, the P90 version will be my next guitar. I also like the humbucker version, but I already have enough humbucker guitars.
I don't know about US prices, but in Canada I can pick one up for about the same price as a Standard MIM Stratocaster.
