Gonna try a Demon with a A8 magnet in the bridge again.

Today I was testing my Strat with a JB-8 bridge and thought my Demon could use an extra dose of mids.
The Demon is a bit too clanky and bright in comparison.

So I'm gonna swap the A5 from the Demon with the A8 from the JB tomorrow.
I hope the Demon 8 isn't too hot for the A2 Pro in the neck!

I think the Demon 8 would be ok with the A2 Pro. Let me know how it goes!

I personally haven't tried it, but I've heard from several guys that the Demon8 is great in the bridge. Right now I've got one stock Demon (A5) in the neck of one guitar and love it the way it is. And I've got two Demon/Custom hybrids in two other guitars (one has a UOA5 and I don't remember what mag I put in the other one, but I'm pretty sure it was an A8).

The Demon is one of those pups that seems to do quite well with different magnets and I have no doubt that it will be marvelous with an A8 in the bridge. I don't think it will be too hot, but you may need to lower it a bit to match up with the A2P in the neck.
