Hey,
Just about settled on my new pups. Thinking of putting in a custom and 59 into my alder Jackson RR3. Is this wise?? I think a DD would be too bright. Other options Ive been considering:
- JB
- Invader (But have heard bad things)
- Dimebucker (Im hesitant to use signature stuff & havnt heard much about it)
I like the opposite to a scooped sound-->mids kranked up!.Kinda like Slayer or Lamb of God I guess. Does this mean I should get a pickup with high lows and highs to cancel this out? Anyways, I have little experience in the way of tone and any advice would be much appreciated.
