Good digital recorder?

Anyone tried any of the newer cheaper digital recorders? Like the 8 track stuff? I want something that will at least let me export to the PC as an mp3 or something.. Would be great if it had bass and drum tracks to accompany my guitar parts.. and maybe even a mic input with phantom power.. I want something say around the 300 bucks mark or less.. Is this just wishful thinking? It seems like it has to get cheaper and cheaper?

I use the Yamaha AW16G and love it. It's versatile, sounds good, and has LOADS of features and do-dads!!

Tascam pocket studios work good for small no pro things.......they are discontinued but you can find them on ebay....

I use a Digitech GNX4 that is really good for recording with no latency.
