Have an unfinished stratocaster neck and want to put some kind of finish on it but still have the natural wood look. Any suggestions?

Truoil is great.
I've used it in a couple of ways.....just putting a few coats on to get a low build/low sheen look (very quick and easy), or going the whole hog and getting huge amounts of coats on to create finish depth like nitro.

The great thing is that you can add lustre to a rosewood fretboard by applying it there too. Applied with say some steel wool it helps to smooth the board as well.

Tung Oil is good too, but you have to get real 100% Tung Oil, the Formbys/Minwax stuff in Home Depot and Lowe's is cut with a lot of mineral spirits/thinner, it's harder to find the real stuff. The good thing about the real stuff is that it smells nice, kinda nutty, and it isn't harmful.

I've used Hope's in the past - https://www.amazon.com/100-Tung-Oil...=UTF8&qid=1484602338&sr=8-1&keywords=tung+oil

Tru oil is easy, just wipe it on, wipe off, let dry, extra fine steel wool, repeat. Of course, for a neck you probably won't want to build up a super thick glassy finish, so you won't need as many coats as a body.
