Goodwill find

Finally figured out how to sync up my midi foot controller to my Behringer amp. Yay! Paid $7.00 for the foot controller and less than $200 for the amp.

I know it's not a high dollar rig, but the thing sounds fantastic and I look forward to maybe posting a few sound clips.

Nice. What I like about the ART controllers is that button assignments are linked to Continuous Controllers instead of dedicated system exclusive messaging, and it uses MIDI instead of some proprietary link like the Digitech pedals. Once you link the CCs to the functions (On/Off, etc), you're set. If the target unit allows CC messages to control dynamics like drive, eq levels, etc, you can assign each button to increase/decrease those parameters.

Re: Goodwill find

I think it is capable of doing so if I program it right. As it is now, I'm happy to be able to switch between all the onboard effects.

i like my x-15 and even like the magenta/pink artwork.. built like a tank and works with my PC/Guitar Rig as well..originally i acquired the pedalboard to be mated with an old SGX 2000, so the SGX would be "complete".. hooked it up to my PC and was pleasantly surprised that it worked with GR4 w/o no real configuration.. only problem i noticed is the numbers are 1 off on the pedal but that not a drastic issue at all..

I just need to get around to utilizing more of its functionality,, yes im lazy..

Re: Goodwill find

MIDI number formatting may be assignable/selectable. 0-127 or 1-128, IIRC. Been a while, and only saw it on a couple of units (Alesis SR-16 and GSP21 I think).

Re: Goodwill find

I've got one of those, using it with an FXR Elite. It's a nice bargain-bin combo.
