I went to Shopco and got a nice little digital unit with a remote censor. I has inside humidity, and temp, with outside temp too. The brand is Acurite. Now I can moniter the humidity better.

What unit did you specifically buy? I'm looking myself for a humidity/temp gauge for my music room.

Sorry guys I have been working alot lately and haven't had time to respond. The brand is Acurite and it cost only $14.99.

I thought I was the only one! My kids gave me one of those old style 3 circular dial ones that I leave in my music room.

If it works great. I went to a second hand store to get one of those dial type and they had four of them. Their humidity levals ranged 10 percent. I was not sure wich one was the accurate one so I bought the new digital one.
