Haha I just realized I never played the neck pickup on this song. It's just the 59/custom in my les Paul. Well. Hope you like it anyway.

MJ used to (and probably still does) wind quite a few "stock" pickups. Similar to having the chef/owner of a restaurant personally make your dinner. There may be nothing tangibly different about it but sometimes it's nice to know that The Custom Shop performed all functions start-to-finish.

This reminds me of a recent conversation about how different people winding the same model on the same machine can/will still produce something that can range from ho-hum to average to awesome.

Again and now call me party pooper, but the depicted 59N is a regular SH-1N and not a CS model. Someone just put it in CS box.
