Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

That is an insane price! Personally I run mine 18v, low setting, gain maxed, tone at 50% and volume to taste. I use the volume on the guitar to change the gain structure.

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

I don't even like the thing and I'm floored you got one that cheap....LOL.

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

I love the OCD and **** that's cheap

I have V1 which is a bit bassy and not as middy as some would like.
I would like to try V3

With V1 I suggest LP mode with the volume at noon, tone rolled to half or less and the gain as high or low as you want depending on cleanliness or dirt already on tap - this is a great way to make smooth, saturated gain on your amp, esp if you are ON a GAIN CHANNEL.

I suggest HP mode and the gain goosed with the tone pretty low - like 11 o clock or less if its into a Fender or Marshall clean-ish platform. Keep volume at 9 oclock if you just want gain. If you want to goose the amp use the OCD on HP with the volume anywhere past 9 and your amp will scream! Drop the gain to about 50% in this case, or less depending.

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

I just bought one for a hundred, and i waited for a year to find one at that price.Whered you get it? A pawnshop? Thats one of the most highly regaraded OD's out there, and I have heard it get amzing sounds with a Fender.Dont know about buckers tho.

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

Come on bro, you can't just post that you got a OCD for $40 bucks and not post where you got it from!!! We wants to know!!!!

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

You actually paid $40 for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? I would have gladly traded you almost anything for free.

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

Well, it was cheap, but after hours of wanting it to work for me... It just doesn,t! I guess atleast I will make a profit! I think its a good pedal for what it does, but its just too big sounding for me and a little to aggresive as well. I guess I am more of a TS or boost kinda guy after all. Oh well, guess its going on craigs list

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

Well I can quote this from Mr Fuller

The OCD is NOT meant for every amp. It was really designed with Old Fender and Marshalls in mind. If you add to that the fact you feel you are a TS kinda guy (lol in LA that would mean "trans-sexual" hahaha) you are not on the right pedal.

Re: Got an OCD for crazy cheap!

I love the OCD ver 3, I just picked this one up and for me its the most touch responsive pedal i have played! I posted this video in the tips and clips page but here is the link if you want to hear how the OCD sounds into my Blues Junior....I'm using a Les Paul with a SD59N & C5 bridge!
