got my PRS soapbar SE

I just got my PRS SE soapbar today...... and man is it sweet. I've been lookin for a P90 guitar for a while..... I read all the reviews......and man is this thing is well worth the money. It has the wide-fat neck (like my hollowbody) which i love, the frets are perfect.... just everything about it is quality. I bought it used off ebay and the only thing i did was lower the bridge a little and spray a little contact cleaner on the volume pot to get rid of the scratchyness.... and it is perfect now. The P90s are a little bit fatter sounding than single coils.... and that is the sound i have been wanting. To me P90s are perfect for blues. I couldnt be happier. Great guitar at a great price... i paid $430 for it and a new deluxe coffin flight case.

Is Korea making the best guitars now?..... probably not, but for the money they are close

Cool, they are nice looking but I haven't gotten my hands on one yet, glad to hear positive things about it. I love P-90 guitars! Are they SD P-90's or imports as well?

How do these sound? Do they retain that P90's vibe or are they too high output?

here is a pic of it.... the black/grey burst is hard to photo. the original owner also put on crememcovers instead of the black ones..... it's sittin in the coffin case it came in

as for the pickups are the stock korean PRS soapbars... sound wise not too bad... i was thinkin about the custom 3s ... but the more I think about it i think i may go with the Fralins.

These are the first P90s I've ever owned, so I can't compare...but I'm happy as hell with them. Both scream if you want them to...roll off the volume knobs & they mellow out quite nicely. The neck is nice & fat sounding while the bridge will either scream or twang depending on where you're at.

I LOVE THEM!!! Maybe Wattage can compare some of the differences.....the guitar originally was owned by him!!
