Got Myself a Shop Amp

Wanted something for practicing while out in the shop area, with the cheapie Silverton Paul Stanley Sovereign, whose new home is the shop.

I wanted something small, and I found it.

At the store, we plugged it into a 4x12 cab and it sounded just amazing and pretty loud.

I'm going to fashion a bracket and mount this thing to the bench.

Very cool.

I almost bought the translucent one for my daughter as an amp, but ended up getting the danelectro bacon and eggs mini amp off ebay for $8 shipped, so I got that instead.

Cool. Have to take a look at it.

This thing will be perfect to pack up to the hills camping, too. Think I'm going to find a small metal electrical component box, have a session on the drill press and encase it. It's already pretty sturdy, but I want to protect the exposed speaker cone area.

Bacon and Eggs very cool. I think my local hangout guitar store sells those too. Didn't know there was an amp version. Assumed all the boxes were effects.

$8 shipped = priceless. Great deal, man.

I do have one of those Hot Watt II's. Bought it like 10 years ago. In fact, that's going to the garage. I can hook it to the subwoofer setup I have in there for the iPOD and television. Woo Hoo.

This silly, but amazing, little amp is now camping gear.
