I recently bought a L500XL and a SH-1 59B for my guitar, I've a Dean ML Knight btw. It originally has EMG 81/85s on it. L500XL fits to EMG 81s pickup ring. But Seymour Duncan doesnt fits into 85s pickup ring so idk what to do. Any pickup ring from ebay will solve my problem? Thats how the pickup fits EMG's pickup ring...

Welcome to the forum.

It is self-evident from your photograph that the coverless SD SH-1n '59 humbucker will pass through the gap in the mounting surround. Hence, the misalignment illustrated in the photograph is caused by either physical damage or pilot error. A photograph, taken from a different angle, would answer this question.

On my steel rule, the end-to-end gap across a Gibson/HPI humbucker surround measures 70mm.

An EMG humbucker measures 68.5mm at the top and 70.5mm at the bottom.

The neck position pickup surround illustrated in your photographs appears to have a gap of 68mm. i.e. A snug fit on an EMG humbucker.

On the first three open bobbins Seymour Duncan G-spacing humbuckers that came to hand, the end-to-end measurement (allowing for the rolled edge of the bobbin) is 66mm.

By my reckoning, a genuine Seymour Duncan SH-1B or N '59 humbucker should mount in your "EMG" surround.

Looking at your photographs of the underside of the pickup, the typeface used for the model ID sticker is not one normally used by Seymour Duncan.

The photograph illustrating the distance between the elevator screw holes in the baseplate appears to show 80mm.

On a Seymour Duncan Trembucker, intended to be mounted in the bridge/Treble position of a guitar with a vibrato bridge, the equivalent distance is just 78mm.

I have to conclude that your pickup is not a genuine Seymour Duncan.
