I like it! Very transparent and natural sounding...probably more so than any chorus I've owned. (Never owned the TC Electronics unit...it was between the TC and the Fulltone and I went with the Fulltone because so many here seemed to prefer it.) I wish the stereo spread when I play through two amps was a little stronger with the Fulltone...my Danolectro Cool Cat actually gives a bigger, wider , more dramatic spread when played in stereo. But the Dano is noisy when the notes fade out.

Probably, I just need to use the Fulltone more and get used to setting the controls.

The Fulltone stuff is great. The '69 Pedal, Clyde Wah and now the Chorus/Flanger. I'm hoping Mike Fuller will let me become a dealer...think I'll give him a call today. I emailed him a while back but didn't hear back fom him.

I still like my little blue Boss CE-2 Chorus, BTW...it has a sound all it's own and really sounds "right" to me. But it's a mono unit and I like to use chorus in stereo through two amps.

cool!

cool!

Hey Lew, I just picked up a cool cat chorus from your talk about them. I really like it! Haven't tried it through 2 amps yet (because I don't have another cab), but it sounds really good and I can get a really good Trower vibe going with my strat!

Is that the one they call the choral flange or whatever?? In a green casing??

I had a freind who had one of those, it was pretty darn cool. But you pay for em.....

I don't consider myself a "chorus abuser" but I LOVE that pedal!

You're right, tho. The spread isn't as dramatic as some chorus pedals, but that can be a good thing, because it sounds more
musical to me. I use that pedal last in my chain because its
such a high quality unit to use as a stereo splitter.
I usually set the mix real high. Those little switches really allow you to dial in a lot of variations of chorus, flange, and rotary.
I bought mine new/used for $210.

Very cool, Lew. I prefer a more in your face Chorus myself, but I know that Fulltone makes some great stuff.

Thanks guys. Yep...my Bosses and the Dano Cool Cat both are a little more dramatic. But the Fulltone is more transparent and less "oinky".

I paid around $250 for it new...that's one reason I'd like to become a dealer! :D Actually, after getting the '69 Pedal I sold my Prescription Electronics Experiance Pedal and got a little more than $200 for it...so it was almost like trading it for the Fulltone Chorus/Flanger.

Hey!

Lew I was gonna ask if it is normal with the cool cat to hear a bit of distorted sounding 'fuzz' at the end of sustained notes...I can't get over it. I was wondering if you had the same experience with yours (ie is this what you were describing earlier) or if this is a defect...
