Gravity storms in mahogony....

I've heard these pups are very good in darker guitars, before I pull the trigger on a pair of warpig clones I'd figure I'd ask you guys about these, I know tonally they are not all that similar to the pig but I've had great results with the dimarzios I just dropped in my parker and I'd figured I'd ask...

Home would be a silverburst ec1000, My hovercraft is a pretty dark amplifier but with the presence up and an od it brightens up a bit, I'm generally a fan of darker bridge pups with a nice low mid push, I'm loving the tone zone in my parker with this amp right now...

Re: Gravity storms in mahogony....

Dont know about darker guitars but I dig the Gravity storms. I have them in a Robin Medley they are not a particularly bright pickup but are very clear and defined without being harsh. The bass is a bit pulled back but it solid and not flubby with a warm mid push that doesnt sound congested just full. I like the neck more than the bridge but thats just cause i prefer a bit more output in the bridge, but they are very nice pups.
