I used to not "get" Flying V's, and then I started listening to a ton of Judas Priest. Now I REALLY want one, along with a SG which I've wanted for a long time already. Too many cool guitars out there! I'll just have to be happy with what I have haha. I'd be tempted to throw a Super Distortion in the bridge and a PAF 36th Anniversary in the neck.

The OTHER medallion V in it's original color . Story goes KK and Michael both wanted the same exact Medallion V at some shop in London, but KK (rumored underhandedly, who knows) got it first. Michael bought the other one the shop had.

This guitar got the full treatment tonight, spit, sweat, beer... Full ears ringing volume...
I abused her tonight.
Other than being a finicky tuner.... She is flat amazing!
So in love with this Axe.

Very nice. One of my favorite Vs ever is still Wonker's red faded with the black guard and P90 added. I'm gonna have to grab a faded one of these days and do some modding...

I LOVED IT TOO. the combo is really nice.
but i didnt like the guitar . i had one. is it the faded series?!
theres this sharp edges frets. and the body seems to be chambered.

I just got done watching a vid of Halford in concert and one of his players rocked a faded V the whole night. sounded killer
