Im in the very early stages of matching up some parts for a guitar build. For this first build im going to keep it fairly basic and as on the cheap as possible.
Ill probably end up selling it shortly after i build it anyway.
One question i have is that ive come across a basswood yamaha body that is form a yamaha eg112. This can be had for on the cheap, so i was wondering if a standard stratocaster type pickguard will fit it or will i have to special order one thereby negating any savings.
Any other tips or ideas for this process are much appreciated.
