Guitar Effect Pedal Repair/mods

My stepdad brought me his Visual Sound Angry Fuzz that has a problem with the “Anger” (octave up) knob. For some odd reason, it gets quieter the more you turn that knob up. I don’t even know what to tell him.
 
I have an old Ibanez TD-7 (square, silver tube screamer) the button to activate is shot. You can rarely ever get the pedal to engage anymore. Is this something worth sending you, or any tips on getting it working?

I agree with Devastone. Something like this wouldn't really be worth it due to the shipping. If you don't have the soldering skills or know someone with them, I am more than happy to help. Just let me know which direction you wanna go.
