Just looking again at the Guitar Fetish P-90's and how they compare to Duncans

Teh D.C resistance of the GFS P-90s is 8.80k in the Bridge and 8.0k in the neck.

Comapred to a SP901 which is 9.35k Bridge and 8.22k in the neck.

Does this mean that teh GFS pickups are less 'hot; than a Vintage SP901??

How does that make them sound?

It means the GFS pickups will stay cleaner longer, they won't drive your amp as quickly.


GFSs are good pickups, especialy if you are on a budget.
You don't have to worry about not liking them.

There are lots of variables in pickup design. One thing I like about the GFS pickups is that even if you don't like them they are a cheap alternative and you can return them fairly easy.
