Hi. Thought you guys might like something like this. I build these with CD labels. Can customize for your favorite record.

Made with solid oak and come with 2 or 4 screws and anchors, and the u-hook of course. The hook is not treated for nitro, so please understand you’d have to use a small rag or something for any nitro-finished guitar.

The first few pictures are my personal “test subjects”. I’ve got a pretty good system now with the exposed oak sides finished with a coat of epoxy as well.

Love these and love you for offering them to the forum!

Would these retrofit existing hangers you think? Like would the screw spacing be the same for me to just pop the current hanger out of the wall, use the existing screws and pretend nothing happened?

I could definitely drill the holes to match your existing anchors.

If you're serious about this you should expand your choices as soon as you can. 20 years ago I would have been totally into these but now I have all wood hangers to match the decor.
Do you have a router or trimmer?

Those are cool (as are the guitars) but I worry for you if any of these bands or labels catch on to you making money off of their image. Hopefully you have their permission to avoid being sued. Anyways, nice work.
