Guitar Performing Stand

I am looking for an acoustic stand like Alex uses for The Trees. All I have found is a K&M for $340. Has anyone found one cheaper? What has your experience been using one?

Only 1 or 2 companies make those anymore, so they are expensive. Even Alex has moved to either piezos or some sort of other processing for electric for this stuff (acoustic IRs, etc).

That is what I have been doing, using the piezo. This piece is nylon string so the piezo doesn't cut it. I need it mainly for rehearsal heading into the studio, I will use piezo live. However, heading into the studio I want to get as much time playing it on the nylon string as possible.

I just need it for rehearsals for 6 months. I would never use it live. If it was under 100 I would go for it.

I like your thinking but I want to buy one for a hundred not rent it. Plus I know me I will never sell it, it will end up in the basement collecting dust. The same model is $179 on Thomann but they are sold out.

I made one in the 80s with an old snare stand and a mic stand. The snare stand's neck fit perfectly in the mic stand with no mods.
