"Guitar Shop" 5-way switching plus out of phase?

Hi, I'm about to order a Guitar Shop set of pickups from the Custom Shop (http://www.seymourduncan.com/2011products/53-tapped-tele-model-t.php). Instead of the actual set, I plan on getting a "Strat for Tele" pickup instead of the one offered in the set. (http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/custom-shop/telecaster/rhythm_for_tele/)

I'm wondering, I really like the "out of phase" sound that can be wired into a Tele between two pickups. Is it possible to wire up the SD set to the 5-way switch, then wire up the "out of phase" option to a push/pull pot?

I don't know if I'd need any special wiring in the pickups or if this is something that can be done with the original configuration?

I want to go ahead and put the order in, but I'd like to make sure I get it right if I need anything special.

Thanks for looking!!

Re: "Guitar Shop" 5-way switching plus out of phase?

The underlying idea of the five-way selector switch is to offer two different output levels of Tele lead pickup and two corresponding mixed sounds when combined with the neck pickup.

Any phase reversal wiring of the Tapped '53 Lead pickup will mess up the output levels. Hence, the reversal has to be of the output conductors of the neck position pickup. IMO, a push-pull pot would be the tidiest way to add this option.
