Guitar suggestions...

Re: Guitar suggestions...

Schecter Tempest Blackjack, it has SD pickups instead of the custom's DDs.

Re: Guitar suggestions...

Here are my two Diodati LP influenced guitars.

59Q

58

Made in Japan.
Very, very nice quality fit and finish.
Play great and sound great.

I did eventually swap out the 59Q's pickups.
The 58 is used, and has a stock Gotoh neck pickup and a
Air Norton bridge pickup. I need to get that one set up by my tech
to my preferences and string gauge. Then I'll decide If I want to keep those pickups in it.

The Diodati's are not exact replicas because they are sold here in the U.S.A.
So the horn and headstock are shaped different.
Body thickness is like an LP.
24 3/4 scale.
Rosewood fretboards.
Honduran mahogany neck and body.
Carved maple tops.
Neck profile are like a '59 LP.
Acrylic lacquer finish. Thin like Nitro. Durable like Poly.

The 58 I picked up used for $400 with case.
The 59Q was NOS. I got it for $900 with case.

So anyways, keep an eye on Ebay.
The Diodati pop up from time to time.

Also, look at the Carvin CT3 or CT4. Those are close to your price range.
Especially since they are $100 off the regular price right now.
