Guitars, Amps, Pedals. Ultimate Photo Thread.

The requirement for this thread is simple. Take pics of 1-3 guitars with an amp or two, and whatever pedals compliment the rig.....or no pedals. This isn't a giant group shot thread, nor a place to post a pic of just your guitar or pedalboard.

We're looking for shots that look like they belong in a calendar or guitar book. Who knows, maybe we'll end up making one out of the best pictures. :dunno:

Oh, one more thing. Don't quote people's entire posts and make comments.
Let's keep it nice and clean, just like a long photo album without distractions or derailments.

Ya know GJ... I've owned MOUNTAINS of gear over the past decade, most of which has been posted-up here on this site at one time or another. But browsing through my photo archives... I realize that I SUCK at taking "artsy" gear pics. Your pics, though plenty gear-whorish... are artistic in nature and pleasing to look at. Mine are mostly just whorish in nature. Like a suit covered in rhinestones. So I'll just leave a few random acoustic instrument pics that I've taken over the past couple of years. Cordoba flamencos, and Breedlove mandos, and steel/nylon strings are well-represented though.

I don't think Ive ever really seen even one truly professionally composed shot of gear here ever. Shots with proper 3 point lighting and a Muslin backdrop, snoots, umbreallas, triggered flashes or even a semi-professional artistic composed natural background with warm ambient wash of late afternoon sunlight.
There are some real good shots here and there ,but nothing professional .No one really ever takes full use of good natural lighting, and the backgrounds are always pretty aweful, with little to no aesthetic merit .
Thats me included.
I don't have real high hopes for this , but at least its a try I suppose- probably just a glorified show your gear thread..

LOL... nope. I build pretty good kindling "fire teepees" when starting a camp fire. This time, the kindling was made up of $5400 worth of guitars.
