Alright guys, I just put a Taylor on layaway so I've got to move a lot of stuff to be allowed to have it by the wife. On some of the prices there's a little wiggle room, on others I'm pretty firm. I'll be sure to make it clear which ones I'm willing to move on. I'll also consider cutting deals if you buy more than one.
First up on the block is a Marlboro Cigarette Special. If you're not familiar with these, they're pretty cool. Back when Marlboro was doing the Miles thing, you could get this acoustic through them for 50,000 miles and 25 bucks for shipping. It's basically a D-28 replica, save for the fretboard extends to match the radius of the soundhole instead of stopping at the edge. Solid spruce top, solid rosewood back, laminated rosewood sides. Rosewood bridge, fretboard and headstock veneer. Mahogany neck. Medium frets with little fretwear. This thing is awesome. I'd put it up against any Ibanez, Dean, Takamine G Series, or Epiphone without skipping a beat. It's in fairly good condition, a few scuffs and scratches here and there. Furthest to the right in the pic. Asking 175 obo.
Next is a 2008 Seagull S6 Cedar GT. This is a great sounding acoustic. Solid cedar top, laminated wild cherry back and sides with a rock maple neck. A little dinged here and there, this was my main gigging guitar for awhile, but still in great condition. Asking 250 firm.
Next is a no name tele. I believe that at one time it was once a Squier, but I make no promises. It's real hard to describe what alls been done to it, but I'll try my best. The entire body plus parts of the neck have been stained and sprayed in a dark brown walnut color. The body front and headstock have what looks like to be a burled walnut veneer. The edges of the body look to have been routed to add some decoration or something. Surely wasn't to add binding. Maple neck and fretboard with pearl (instead of black) dots. Plays great and sounds awesome. Has some body and fretboard wear. Don't remember exactly where I got this one, but I think it was a pawn shop find several years ago. 150 obo. *Sold*
Ibanez nylon string folk acoustic. AEF20. Acoustic/electric, bound body and fretboard, cedar top. Great condition save for one thing. I bought it at a music store going out of business last year. It had been sitting in their reject stock because someone had knocked it off the stand and cracked the headstock. I've taken a serious look at it, and gotten several opinions. It's not causing any problems, is fully repairable, and is basically a hairline crack that is barely there. They sell new on MF for 350. I'll take 125 obo.
Now for my own "junk" pile. Epiphone SG bass with the big humbucker. If I remember right these things came in a pack with an amp and all that jazz. Missing two saddles on the bridge and a tuning peg. It's yours for 60 bucks *Sold*. Dean Vendetta XM body and neck. No hardware. 20 for the body, 10 for the neck.
I also have a 75 Alvarez Yairi DY57 to sell if the price is right. Make an offer on it.
