Gun Control - Toneport UX2 clip

I finally got an entire song recorded on my toneport UX2. it freakin rocks. the song is called Gun Control, and its a song that me and my bandmate wrote for a public service announcment about gun control. It was an assignment for our music theory class, so we used the song to test out the UX2.

everything was done on the UX2 into Acid Pro 4. all the guitar, bass and vocals were done with the Toneport amp models, and the drums (only a snare and high-hat) were miced with a sm57 and run directly into the UX2. everything was tracked seperatly and layered.

ya the song was written in like 10 minutes, the assignment was to have a 1 minute song with a catchy melody. its not exactly the type of thing for a rippin solo (or is it?), hence there isnt one. my entire band is going to get some of our songs recorded with the UX2, so there will be some more guitar oriented music on those. i will post them here as soon as they are done.
