New to the forum and all I've wired before is two-wire Slash Alnico 2s into my Les Paul, without any other changes, so I need some input. I want to put a Custom Custom in my VH2 Bumblebee-style guitar (it's currently just an S/S/S knockoff Strat) but keep the neck single coil. I find I use the bridge single coil a lot now so I'd like to keep that feature by enabling the coil split. I was just gonna wire in one tone and one volume for the whole thing, but I'm just not sure how to wire the 5-way switch. Ideally I'd like to have a killswitch position next to the humbucker. Anyway I can do this? H/S wiring info is not easy to come by. I could wire it like a Tele but with the 5-way switch to control it all. Like dead-humbucker-split-both-neck. Is this possible?
