H-S pups?

Scored a couple of H-S guitars... they look mahogany to me..
One has no pickups and the other’s I don’t like at all.

I’ve owned only one other electric so I’m curious is you guys
could chime in to help me choose pickups?

One H-S set for metal
The other for rock/blues/country

I play through a JCA high gain amp

Welcome to the forum!

For the metal one...how about the Pegasus and Custom Stack Plus?
For the more versatile one, perhaps the 59/Custom Hybrid and Classic Stack Plus?
All are hum-cancelling.

And thanks for the advice.
I just ordered a 59 custom hybrid and the classic stack plus.
Just wondering if you have experience with any of the rail style pickups?
For metal I like the humbucker necks but I don’t want to do any routing.
And to be honest I don’t use the neck much in that application anyway so I was thinking of a rail for when I do want to use it.

I have used almost all of the rails at one point or another. The Hot Rails are great metal pickups. The Cool Rails are great for...well, cleaner, clearer, more open sounds.
