Hardware Question: Tuner Alignment Pins?

Question for you guys. I'm trying to put locking tuners on my Ibanez RGIB6 and I'm stumped by the spacing on the stock tuner alignment pins. I try to avoid drilling new holes whenever possible, and by looking at the headstock, the tuners appear to use the Fender two-pin configuration. I test-fitted one of my Fender/Schaller locking tuners and look:

The spacing is different. Any ideas?

The Carvin/Kiesel locking tabless tuners should drop right in. I know they used to

I would definitely double check the pin spacing before ordering, and if I am not mistaken your guitar is a baritone. You will want to make sure your preferred string size will fit the tuner.

Yep.....tuners are certainly a 'check every possible spec' type purchase.....even the amount of tuner that pokes through the top of the headstock is variable.
