Hardware swap on white custom... Yay or nay?

Hey y'all,

Just finished outfitting my Custom Lite with some cream hardware. I was looking for something a bit different than the normal black pickguard, pickup rings, knobs, etc that are typically seen on white customs. Looking for some opinions! Thanks!

It looks neat as is, the only thing I can see is maybe an uncovered white bridge pickup, but that also has an effect on tone.

I can say it looks a lot cooler than it did before.

If it were mine, I'd put the black plastics back. Sure, everyone's white LPC looks like that, but the white / cream contrast bugs me. If I wanted a different look, I'd think about swapping the hardware from gold to nickel or black.

If you look closely, it is nickel.

I’d look into getting a matching white guard. I like the white out look better than the black but like dystrust mentioned the cream on white bugs me too

Hard to tell with the lighting. Tell you what, sent it to me and I'll take A REALLY REALLY good look at it, and trust me it won't be a rush job I'll take my time.

I'd go with white pearloid truss rod cover and pickguard along with some jazzed up knobs.

I have a hard time enjoying white on Gibsons myself. There’s just something kind of odd about it to my eyes.

You do you though.

I kind of dig the cream but not for myself.
