Hardwired input jack for blues jr

Does anyone know how to hardwire a switchcraft input jack on a blues jr? The jack on my Jr has crapped out and I don't want another pc mounted jack on there....if anyone has a diagram or installation tips. it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

have you tried Bill's Blues Junior Modification Pages? i'am sure if you email him, he should have a diagram.....

I tried to buy the mod kit he has and he won't have any until August. I need to get it done before then.

Mine was done by the guy I bought it from.

My understanding is that all he did was solder wire from a new jack to the inputs on the board.

He didn't seem all that bright so I don't think it'll be all that tough to figure out once you look at it.

There are 3 wires on the original plastic jack, IIRC......I just need to know what is hot & what is ground and if I need to use plastic washers.

Here is a good tutorial . The HRD should be similar if not exact as a Blues Jr. If not? He gives you enough info to do it academically. I did this mod to my champ 12 with just a Multimeter to check continuity. It's not rocket surgery.
