Has anyone heard the new Vox Bulldog distortion pedal?

I've heard the clips, but I can't find one locally to try out. Anyone ever hear it in person?

Yep. It's actually got a really nice sound on its own. It's heavy enough for Metallica-ish stuff, but more than that... mhmm I guess with a very high output pickup you could achieve very modern metal. I liked it. It was a while ago though.

How does it do straight Marshall, or classic rock type stuff. I dig that it can do the heavy stuff

I Liked the audio clips and I think there were video clips of the series also...Have you also checked out the new Duncan Tube SFX 03 yet?

I have it!
It can do really heavy stuff if you like.I use it to do the "heavy bost" on my vox ac30cc.
It can do allmost everything from classic vox to heavyer marshall tones.
It`s a really great box it`s a keeper
btw i play it with a strat /tb59

How much does that thing retail for?

I'm looking for something to get my Marshall into heavier territories but I'm yet to find anything better over my amp's od than Stratdeluxer's TS9 or DS-1...

I'm curious how the new Duncan pedal would sound thru my DRRI. Still have'nt found the right pedal for that amp. Any users or any clips of one out there per chance?

F'ing killer. I'm definitely picking one of them up, but that doesn't do metal tones like the Bulldog, I don't think. The Vox would be my first choice for now. I wish there were more sound clips of the SFX-03
