SC-200 is a attractive looking and VERY attractively priced guitar but unfortunately I can't actually play it in any store here. I have to order it from another country. Has anyone played? How does it sound and feel? IS IT GOOD? If I buy it I will also get a SD Distortion in the bridge and 59' in the neck.

LTD USED to have an STEPHEN CARPENTER model that was neck through maple/alder like the ESP, it also have the neck pickup, and it was a fione guitar for the money. There is nothing wrong with the LTD qualty as far as I know but I'll say this...the SC200 is basswood (not good IMO), bolt on, and will sound NOTHING like an ESP Carpenter...if thats what you want I would say troll areound on EBAY until one of the older LTD Carpenters pops up...a friend of mine had one, and like I said, it was neck through maple/alder, it had the neck pick-up, I swapped them out for a JB in the bridge, a 59 in the middle, and an SSL-2 in the neck...and that guitar was pretty killer!
