I recently got an empty Peavey 2x12 cabinet for cheap so I threw a couple of extra 12s I had into it and wired it up along with my AX2 combo so that the 4 12s would be 8 ohms, now I run in stereo with a Sunn 4x12 and have a 1x18 for some added bottom end.

I love the flexibility of the Classic 50/50 power amp...

What do you think?

I just need to replace 5 of the 8 12s to fine tune my tone, otherwise I'm really happy with it.

i liked those AX2's when they first came out! first time i heard one i wanted one.. Good thing i didn't buy one as they can be had used for a good price these days

Thanks for reminding me. :fing25: I paid $1700 including the floorboard and taxes when I bought it. The dumb thing is I would get MAYBE $400 for it if I sold it. It sounds so much better acting as a preamp than it ever did as a combo.
