Having trouble making pinch harmonics - amp or pedal problem?

I don't think this is a technique problem. Through the distortion setting of my little solid state Tech 21 Trademark 10, I can make pinch harmonics almost anywhere on the neck. However, when I play through my Fender Pro Junior with various types of distortion/OD pedals in front of it (OCD, Tonebone Classic distortion, SD-1), I have a lot of trouble producing the same pinch harmonics. Is this an amp issue or a distortion pedal issue?

The more gain you have, the easier it is to hit pinch harmonics. If you can hit them with one amp, then it is not a technique problem.

you're still using the bridge pickup only in the problem amp?

Yes - bridge pickup only.

I can pinch just fine on my pro jr.
