HB for ash guitar

Hi,
What will be the good choice of humbucker for an ash bodied guitar (rosewood fretboard) ? I'm looking for a Van Halen type sound. I'm thinking of Custom or Custom Custom, I think that Custom Custom is better suited, as Custom has more high, but still cannot decide...help please...
Somebody here mentioned that Custom 5 is good for EVH sound, but I can't find its' sound sample....help please

'59, custom shop '78, or a '59/custom custom hybrid.
Thanks for the input. But what is this custom custom hybrid ? Can't find it on Seymour's product list.
Honestly, I don't intend to go to the custom shop route, way too expensive for me...a pair of EVH '78 costs more than 300 euros in France.

It's a '59 slug coil in the front and a Custom Screw coil in the back. A Forum member here named "BachToRock" puts em together and they get great reviews.

Re: HB for ash guitar

since you're in Europe you might want to check out Bareknuckle pickups. http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk

They have a VHII model pickup, also The Mule which is available with an Alnico 2 magnet, both of which should get you pretty close to the EVH tone
