head as power amp...

Hey there,

How would I go about using a ****ty Crate head rated at 120watts simply as a power amp... bypassing the hissy distortion in favour of playing through a preamp such as an ADA MP-1 or similar?

plug the ada into the 'return' of the effects loop on the crate.

Well aslong as they are the same level (which is fine with something like ada) its perfectly fine.
