Help for my lovely (but dark) guitar?

My Takamine Gx-200 is killer. Made in 1984 mahogany body with rosewood fretboard, as you would imagine it is not bright sounding. I've gone through some pickups already, like the stock Dimarzio Super Distortions, SD Custom Bridge, PG neck, and just got Ddistortion, but haven't put them in yet. I'm thinking about putting that set into a strat, but that's not the focus right now. What do sets would you guys recommend to brighten up my cream colored beauty?

I say try those Duncan Distortions. You might be pleasantly surprised.

A set of Duncan Jazz, or a '59/Custom in the bridge and a Jazz neck.

Er, what did you dislike about the Super Distortions, Custom and PGN?

What amplification do you use?

What sorts of guitar sound are you aiming to produce?

PGN's don't have an abundance of treble; for me they would never work in a warm guitar.

The Dimebucker is also a good choice, and even a JB might work. The Sentient neck might be a good choice in the bridge too.
