Help!..how to make my lil`59b sound darker

I would like my li`59b to sound a bit darker without making it muddy.
some caps and resistors?????:smash:

If you're using 500K pots now, try using some 250K ones... or simply try lowering the pickup a bit!

Try soldering the pickup's positive wire to the "+" on a 9V battery, and the negative wire to ground. Let it sizzle for an hour or two, then reinstall the pickup.

This will decrease the overall output of the pickup to zero.

Nah. A Lil59b would only draw about 1.1ma at 9 volts. Probably wouldn't even warm it up.

Wire two 1 meg resistors in parallel between input and ground of the pot. This'll knock a 500k down to 250.

Might want to also try all nickle strings and lowering the pup in 1/32" increments.

Graphtechs'll take some edge off too.
